Digging Into Some History

“The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society. Those who manipulate the unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country.” – Edward Bernays

Bernays was the inventor and first master of what became known as “public relations.” The paragraph above is the FIRST paragraph from his book titled, “Propaganda.”

Oh, and guess who got Americans, and particularly women, hooked on cigarettes back in the day?

Bernays was greatly influenced by Walter Lippmann, an admitted and committed Socialist. Lippmann is heralded as the ‘father’ of modern journalism. …Then we wonder why 97% of political contributions from journalists go the the Democrat Party.

Even Wikipedia has some pretty good expository information on these two individuals who do their part to rule the world from their graves, unfortunately.

This guy: https://markcrispinmiller.com, wrote the forward to the copy of “Propaganda” that I am now reading. Miller, a liberal, takes the lid off the can of looking into how we are, and have been manipulated for a very long. My view is that Donald Trump has been slowly exposing that to us, and that is why ‘they’ have been bent on his distraction since before the beginning.
